The film follows Project 509, Zappos.com, Freewaters Footwear, VIC World Championship of Skimboarding '16 Austin Keen and James on their World Water Day excursion to Haiti earlier this year. A Q&A will immediately follow the screening.
Guests will get the opportunity to bid on silent auction items from Zappos.com, Austin Keen, Perrin James, Iron Cross Surfboards, Chris Ruddy Surfboards, Everyday California, Arcade, Young Living, Girl on the Go! Night Spa, Guayaki Yerba Mate, Greenpacha, Europtics and more!
Project 509 is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that provides access to clean drinking water in remote mountain communities in Haiti through building effective and sustainable rain catchment systems. The communities, mainly children, walk up to 4 hours round trip each day just to carry drinking water home from sources that are almost always contaminated. For additional information, please go here.
Currently, our team is on the ground in Haiti repairing some of our systems that have been been severally damaged from Hurricane Matthew.
We would love to have you join us for the evening! Please feel free to forward this along to any family and friends that might be interested.
